How many people can we have on board Epiphany during a charter?
We have chartering options listed above for up to 6 guests and up to 13 guests.
What time do the charters run?
We have several time block options throughout the day. Please click on the Book Now button below to see time and date options.
Do you offer a bareboat charter?
Yes, we offer the Private Bareboat Sailing Catamaran Charter option listed above. The charterer is still required to independently hire and pay a captain and crew (we can provide recommendations that meet the proficiency requirements in the charter contract).
Are there any additional fees?
Taxes and tip are the additional fees which can be seen when completing the booking process.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity/tips are not included in your base charter fee. It is customary to tip the crew similar to a restaurant based on your satisfaction with the charter. The tip can be pre-paid online with credit card when you book or paid directly in cash to the captain/crew at the end of your charter.
Where do I park?
We are located 2 miles from downtown St. Michaels and will email the address and parking instructions prior to the day of your charter.
Should I bring food and drinks?
We do provide water and a snack during each charter. You are welcome to bring additional beverages and food of choice and we will serve this for you. We will also provide the cups, serving plates, cutting boards, napkins, ice, utensils, corkscrew and bottle opener. We recommend cheese, crackers and specialty meats and dips for a cheese board set-up. If looking for a great place to pick up food, stop by Graul’s Market in St. Michaels on your way located at 1212 S. Talbot Street. Other great options are Eat Sprout and the Village Shoppe located in downtown St. Michaels.
What else should I bring?
Other than food and drinks, you may want to pack other items such as sunscreen, hats, beach towels, life jackets (adult life jackets and generic children’s life jackets are provided), jacket or coat for chilly weather, etc.

Can we use Epiphany for an engagement shoot or other photo shoots?
Yes, guests can schedule a professional photographer to document their special day or event aboard Epiphany. Details are listed in the charter options above. We highly recommend Laura who is a professional photographer and can perform photo shoots during your charter or while you are in town including engagement shoots, family, maternity, etc. Please visit www.laurasfocus.com for details.
What are the cancellation fees?
The 50% deposit is non-refundable if your charter is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the start of your charter. The deposit will be refunded if your charter is cancelled more than 30 days prior to the start of your charter.
What is the weather becomes stormy or rainy?
St. Michaels Sailing Charters reserves the right to cancel the charter at any time due to severe storms or rainy weather. In such a case, the charterer may choose to rebook the charter during a different date or receive a refund of all unused deposits and fees.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted onboard Epiphany.
Can I smoke?
Smoking is not permitted onboard Epiphany or on the property/dock.
